Fresh & Easy to Open Four Stores in July
Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market plans to open four stores in July, which will be the first Fresh & Easy stores to open in Pasadena, Oxnard and Santa Barbara County, the company reported.
With these store openings, the grocer will create more than 80 additional jobs in California. Stores opening in July include:
• California & Lake, Pasadena: July 15
• Channel Islands & Rose, Oxnard: July 29
• Clark & Bradley, Orcutt: July 29
• H & North, Lompoc: July 29
Based on customer feedback, El Segundo, Calif.-based Fresh & Easy said it would introduce more than 1,000 new products to existing stores over the summer. Customers should expect to see more fresh&easy brand products, larger pack sizes and more national brands, as well as exclusive new lines of national-brand quality products at value prices, the company said.
The four new stores will open with many of the new products, and a few extra shelves and fine-tuning of the space to accommodate these items.
“As we have always done, we continue to listen and evolve to improve the shopping trip for customers. We’re hearing customers want to stretch their dollars even further, without compromising on quality,” said Tim Mason, Fresh & Easy CEO. “Particularly in this economy, we’re pleased we can open four additional stores in new neighborhoods while creating more than 80 high-quality jobs.”
