Fox's Market Gets Newest Pa. State-run Liquor Shop

HERSHEY, Pa. -- The paring of state-run liquor outlets with supermarkets continues in Pennsylvania, with the latest One Stop Shop slated to debut in Fox's Market here on Oct. 6.

As the first such full-service wine and spirits store within a grocery store in Central Pa., the nearly 4,000-square-foot unit will carry more than 1,500 wines, spirits and accessories. It will be the 11th One Stop Shop opened by the liquor board. Seven more leases have been approved.

"One Stop Shops have been one of the most successful innovations the PLCB has introduced over the past several years," said Pa. Liquor Control Board chairman, Jonathan Newman. "We are continuing to look for other locations for this type of store throughout Central Pennsylvania."
