Four Seasons Produce Nabs Top 'Corp. Citizen' Honors

Ephrata, Pa.-based Four Seasons Produce was named “Corporate Citizen of the Year” by the Central Penn Business Journal at the seventh annual Business of the Year Awards event held earlier this week.

Selected from among five finalists, Four Seasons Produce, one of the country’s largest independent produce wholesalers, received the award as a result of its ability to demonstrate a sustained commitment to its employees and community.

“Words cannot express how honored we are to be this recipient,” said Ron Carkoski, president of Four Seasons Produce. “The companies that were placed in the category are some of the strongest and most respected companies we know. For certain, awards like this genuinely make you reflect on how special it is to work for an organization like Four Seasons.”

Corporate Citizen of the Year honorees were selected by the independent judging panel. Nominees could be public or privately-held companies, but had to be for-profit entities headquartered or with significant operations in the central Pa. counties of Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry and/or York counties.
