Former Ahold Exec Joins Fleming as Senior VP, Operations
DALLAS - Fleming on Monday announced Tim LaBeau has joined the company as senior vice president, operations, responsible for Fleming divisions in Garland, Texas and Superior and LaCrosse, Wis. LaBeau reports to Steve Davis, executive vice president and president, wholesale.
LaBeau joins Fleming from Royal Ahold, where most recently he successfully served as president and CEO of Royal Ahold subsidiary American Sales Company. LaBeau previously served as executive vice president of merchandising and procurement for Ahold USA. Before joining Ahold, LaBeau served in several leadership positions with ALDI Inc., ultimately serving as president and leading that company during a significant growth period.
"In addition to his operational expertise, Tim is noted for his customer focus and tremendous leadership skills," said Davis. "This is a key position supporting the success of the associates and customers of our distribution centers. We are pleased to be adding Tim to the already-strong team of operating officers for our divisions."
