Foodservice Cutsheets? There’s an app for That.

Kochman Consultants, Ltd., a Morton Grove, Ill.-based company that creates content and distributes applications to the foodservice industry has launched a mobile app for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod that allows users to search, view, and email cutsheets of more than 80,000 pieces of equipment from roughly 200 leading foodservice manufacturers.

Called KCL Mobile (www.kclmobile.com), the free app allows users to search by manufacturer, model, or category and quickly view or email related PDF files.

“This app is essential for anyone who needs to access commercial kitchen spec sheet or utility data on the go,” said KCL VP Kevin Kochman. “Right now it’s available for Apple and Windows products, but we’re already working on an Android version and we’re planning a Blackberry version as well.”

Beginning this month, the app is also available for mobile devices running Windows Phone 7.

Kochman Consultants supplies AutoCAD based foodservice equipment symbol libraries to foodservice equipment manufacturers, retailers, and architects/engineers worldwide.
