Food Lion Selects Workforce Management Solution Provider
IRVING, Texas - Food Lion LLC, a member of Delhaize America, announced it has selected Timera Enterprise Workforce Management (EWM) to manage its forecast and scheduling of its workforce operations.
The EWM solution will be activated in all of Food Lion's approximately 1,215 stores in 11 Southeast and Mid-Atlantic states.
EWM is designed to streamline all aspects of the forecasting and scheduling process. Advanced scheduling features help managers ensure that the appropriate number of employees is scheduled at all times, which ideally leads to increased customer service. Additionally, employee availability and time-off requests are easily captured, tracked and incorporated in the schedule.
