Food City Selects Retail Expert, Inc. for Performance Management App
ABINGDON, Va. - K-VA-T Food Stores, Inc., parent company of the Food City supermarket chain, has chosen NaviStor loss prevention software from Woburn, Mass.-based Retail Expert, Inc., as its corporate exception reporting and performance management application.
"NaviStor offers the flexibility in setting up the specific business measurements necessary for us to reduce our exposure to shrinkage and improve our operational performance," said Joe Fryar, K-VA-T's director of security. "It can easily adapt to our business requirements and automatically provides our management team with numerous business performance, summary, and scorecard reports."
NaviStor manages key performance indicators for retailers, with a focus on reducing shrink and increasing operational performance, and includes features such as scorecarding, data mining, and automated email alerts. The application identifies policy and procedure infractions, as well as associates who may need additional training. Other Retail Expert applications include Sales Audit, Operations, Freight Management, Refund Management, and Inventory Control.
