Firefly, a brand of Buena Park, Calif.-based Dr. Fresh, has unveiled its new FireFly Fluoride Foam Toothpaste line for kids, designed to take the drudgery and mess out of brushing. Unlike traditional toothpaste, this light foamy formula is squirted directly into the mouth rather than onto the toothbrush, where it flushes out bacteria and targets hard-to-reach spots -- something that appeals to braces wearers. Available in a series of character-themed designs – FireFly, Angry Birds, Marvel’s Spider-Man and Barbie – FireFly Fluoride Foam Toothpaste is available at drug and mass retailers in 1.69-ounce pump dispenser bottles for a suggested $2.99.
