Family Dollar Names Jeff Thomas VP, Replenishment
MATTHEWS, N.C. -- Family Dollar Stores, Inc. Friday promoted Jeff Thomas to v.p. of replenishment, reporting to Bryan P. Causey, s.v.p., planning, allocation, and replenishment.
In this new role, Thomas will have responsibility for the company's replenishment functions, "working closely with our vendor partners to ensure that we have the right amount of inventory in the right stores at the right time," said Causey.
Thomas began his career with Family Dollar as director, vendor performance in 2003, and in 2006 was promoted to divisional v.p., merchandise logistics. Prior to joining Family Dollar, Thomas served in a variety of supply chain roles with BI-LO, LLC and Ahold USA.
Family Dollar operates more than 6,400 stores in a 44-state area ranging northwest to Idaho, northeast to Maine, southeast to Florida, and southwest to Arizona.
