Fairway Delays Online Shopping Makeover

Fairway Market is still apparently working on its new and improved online shopping service. The New York-based gourmet food retailer has extended the last day for its customers to place online orders at www.fairway.com/shop to Tuesday, May 3 at 5 p.m.

Following that time, the company explained in an e-mail to customers, “we will be temporarily shutting down our online shopping while we continue to work really hard to bring you a much better online shopping experience.”

Apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused, the grocer, which operates seven physical stores in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, vowed to be to up and running again as soon as possible after the shutdown.
