Executive Director to Retire From Minnesota Grocers Association
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Minnesota Grocers Association (MGA) said Friday that its executive director, Nancy Christensen, plans to retire by the end of 2005. Christensen has served Minnesota's grocers in this role for the past eleven years.
"Nancy Christensen's leadership and accomplishments are highly valued and the Minnesota Grocers Association wants to continue to build on the programs and legislative initiatives established under Christensen's tenure," said Chris Coborn, president of Coborn's, Inc. and chairman of MGA.
"MGA asked Nancy to continue to work as a consultant and manager of Wine With Dinner, our campaign to allow Minnesota consumers to purchase wine with their other dinner items," Coborn added.
MG's board has begun the search for a successor, and is accepting resumes through August 31, 2005. Resumes and letters of application should be sent by mail to Executive
