Execs from Campbell, Smucker Join GS1 US Board of Governors
Campbell North America President Mark Alexander and Chris Resweber, SVP, corporate communications and public affairs for The J.M. Smucker Co., have been appointed to the GS1 US Board of Governors.
In their new roles, Alexander and Resweber will help guide the implementation of GS1 Standards across multiple industries to support improved supply chain efficiencies, regulatory requirements and evolving consumer needs.
Alexander will serve as chairman of the board, replacing W. Rodney McMullen, CEO of The Kroger Co.; Resweber replaces Mark Smucker, president, U.S. Retail Coffee, also of The J.M. Smucker Co.

The GS1 US Board of Governors includes executives from 20 leading organizations, including The Coca-Cola Co., Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, Publix Super Markets, Wakefern Food Corp., Walmart U.S., and Wegmans Food Markets, among others.
