Duane Reade to Offer the American Express Gift Card
NEW YORK -- American Express and Duane Reade, New York's leading drug store, yesterday said it will offer the American Express Gift Card to Duane Reade customers. The American Express Gift Card, available in $25, $50, and $100 denominations, is being sold at 249 Duane Reade stores throughout the New York Metropolitan Area.
"As gift cards continue to grow in popularity, American Express is committed to working with partners like Duane Reade to make gift cards available in a convenient drugstore setting," said Valerie Soranno Keating, president of American Express Global Travelers Cheques and Prepaid Services, in a statement. "The American Express Gift Card lets Duane Reade customers give a gift with millions of possibilities. Recipients can use the card to enjoy everything from shopping, dining out, going to the theater, a spa or museum."
