“It is important that we keep fruit top of mind and help teach children at a young age about the importance of eating healthy,” said Dennis Christou, VP of marketing, Del Monte Fresh Produce N.A. As the official fresh fruit provider for the famed NBA team, Christou added: “It only makes sense that we be involved with the community in these types of events, where we can reach the younger demographics, and get them eating healthy early.”
