Del Monte Appoints E.v.p., Sales
SAN FRANCISCO - Del Monte Foods Company has tapped Tim Cole, a former Quaker Oats sales executive, as its new e.v.p., sales. Cole will report to Richard G. Wolford, chairman and c.e.o. of Del Monte Foods, based here.
Cole was with The Quaker Oats Company, now a unit of PepsiCo, Inc. for 25 years, in a series of assignments with increasing responsibility. Recently, he was v.p. of national accounts for the U.S., directing $3 billion in U.S. sales of all Quaker Brands including Gatorade.
"Tim will be a great addition to the Del Monte team," said Wolford. "He has significant experience leading a large sales organization and growing business with key national retail accounts. His knowledge and experience are expected to play an important role in our future success."
