Dancing Deer Goes ‘Crazy for Brownies’

Through Nov. 6, Dancing Deer Baking Company’s “Crazy for Brownies” dessert recipe contest is offering brownie lovers the chance to submit their original brownie recipes for a chance to win a year’s supply of Dancing Deer Brownies (a $300 value), a $250 cash prize, and be featured on Dancing Deer’s Facebook page, website and in the company's e-newsletter. Finalists will receive Dancing Deer Brownies for six months (a $150 value), and have their recipe featured on the “Award Winning Brownie Dessert Recipe Card,” included in select Dancing Deer Brownie Gifts.

Consumers can choose which of Dancing Deer’s Brownies and Squares will be showcased in their dessert, and submit their original recipes on the company’s Facebook page along with photos and the story behind their submission. Dancing Deer and celebrity judges Nicole Coady, executive pastry chef with Boston-based Finale Desserterie & Bakery, and Sara Ross, founder, owner and executive chef of Kickass Cupcakes, will assign “brownie points” to each recipe on the basis of creativity, originality and taste. The top four contenders will be featured on Facebook from Nov. 15-26 and subject to public voting to determine the grand-prize winner.
