Cub Foods Launches Flu Shot Program

11/06/2007
STILLWATER, Minn. - Supervalu's Cub Pharmacy here is offering two ways for customers to be vaccinated with the flu vaccine this season.

Specially trained and certified Cub pharmacist immunizers will be available to administer flu shots to adults at most Cub Foods locations, by appointment, during regular pharmacy hours, the chain said. Through January, patients can schedule an appointment by calling a designated number.

The chain, owned and operated by America's third largest grocery retailer, Supervalu, will also offer in-store Flu Fighter flu shot clinics in all Minnesota Cub Foods locations.

Cub Pharmacy, a Supervalu company, operates 66 pharmacies within Cub Food locations across Minnesota. SUPERVALU operates more than 920 in-store pharmacies nationwide, offering trusted pharmacists, quality products and convenient hours and locations, with a personalized approach to patient care.
