Cub Foods Celebrates New Stores with 'Cub Days' Campaign
Cub Foods has unveiled a new month-long customer appreciation campaign, "Cub Days," in an effort to officially welcome shoppers to the 10 Cub stores recently converted from Rainbow Foods.
Running through Oct. 11, the effort will offer promotions, free samples, food demonstrations and prize giveaways, including gift cards, a year's supply of gasoline, milk or ice cream, as well as a trip to the Minnesota Vikings/Miami Dolphins game in Florida on Dec. 21.
“Cub Days is a way for us to say thank you – not only to our new customers, but to everyone who has helped make us the hometown grocer for over 45 years," said President Mike Stigers.
Each Saturday, stores will feature demonstrations from Cub’s in-store bakers, as well as offer free samples of made-from-scratch signature items including cake, cookies and donuts. On Sundays and Tuesdays, Cub’s deli managers will feature a variety of sampling and food prep demos.
Additionally, several customer events will take place at Cub locations throughout the Twin Cities area, including visits from the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, on-site sampling from food vendors, and live onsite radio broadcasts.
