Cub Foods Calls Out to Valentine's Day Gift Givers

STILLWATER, Minn. - Cub Foods' resident cupids are geared up for a busy week of one-stop Valentine's Day sales, thanks to its specially designed Lover's Lane check-out aisles devoted exclusively to seasonal flowers, cards, plush toys, candy, balloons, and more.

All 56 Cub Foods stores feature a fully decorated "Lover's Lane," which is showcasing floral-shop quality options, among which is an exclusive, $12 Endless Bouquet comprised of a mix of seasonal flowers, including carnations and chrysanthemums that are guaranteed to last seven days.

In addition to a variety of other floral arrangements starting at $8.99, Cub is also promoting a dozen rose bouquets, with greens and baby's breath, for $18.88, the latter of which are guaranteed to last five days.

Established in 1968 as one of the nation's first discount grocery stores, Cub Foods was purchased in 1980 by Supervalu and currently operates 56 stores in the Twin Cities.
