CTFA's PPN Network Offers Tree Fruit Category Handbook
REEDLEY, Calif. - The California Tree Fruit Agreement based here continues its commitment to learning opportunities for retail produce professionals with the release of the latest edition of The PPN Handbook.
The newest guide -- designed as a comprehensive quick reference and training tool for retailers and industry members who handle and sell California peaches, plums and nectarines -- is revised and expanded as a replacement for the widely-used Peach, Plum and Nectarine Book released in 1998.
The handbook expands on the information available in the new Cal State PPN training site launched this spring, which is already in use by retailers across the U.S. and Canada.
The new handbook can be downloaded from the PPN Network Download Center at www.eatcaliforniafruit.com/downloads. Two versions of the handbook, one in full color, the other in "printer-friendly" black-and-white, are available to download in .PDF format.
