NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. -- A 301,626-square-foot building here being used as a distribution center by Keene, N.H.-based C&S Wholesale Grocers has been sold. In a deal for about $16.8 million, an unnamed buyer purchased the building from the Hampshire Companies, based in Morristown, N.J.

The warehouse sits on 18.4 acres of property, which is fully leased to C&S and is close to the New Jersey Turnpike. The modern, single-story, 24-foot clear-ceiling-height building is currently used by C&S as a regional distribution hub. C&S customers in the metro New Jersey area include A&P and Pathmark.

The seller in the deal was represented by the CB Richard Ellis New York Tri-State investment team of Jeffrey Dunne, Steven Bardsley, and Jeffrey Oram, who procured the buyer, according to the firm.
