Country Choice Organic Taps Former Hannaford Buyer for Sales

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Country Choice Organic, a manufacturer of organic cookies, hot cereal, and oatmeal squares here, has tapped natural/organic industry veteran Jocelyne Greg as East Cost regional manager.

Gregg got her start in traditional grocery with Hannaford Bros., as a buyer in health and beauty. Looking for a new challenge in the natural category, she next served as director of sales, planning, and promotions for Tom's of Maine from 1992 to 1995.

Following up on an interest in homeopathic remedies, she subsequently joined London-based Bach Flower Essences as national sales manager; and later in the '90s, was part of the transition team that merged the Muir Glen product line with Cascadian Farm and Fantastic Foods into Small Planet Foods, the General Mills-owned lineup of organic products.

"That was an exciting time," recalled Gregg in a statement. "The consumer base for organic products was accelerating nationally, and the goal was to make organic products affordable for more folks and sustain organic farming."
