Consumers Can 'Discover' Tuscany Via Buitoni Contest


Buitoni is inviting a fan of the brand’s products, along with a guest, to cook with top chefs at its kitchens at Casa Buitoni in Tuscany, through the “Discover Our Italian Masterpieces” contest, which runs through Dec. 31.

Consumers can visit to share a photo and a few sentences about what inspires them in the kitchen. The grand-prize winner will receive a week's vacation for two to the Tuscany region of Italy, including a two-day trip to Casa Buitoni in Sansepolcro, $2,000 cash, a year's supply of Buitoni products, a digital camera, car service to and from airports, and private tours around the country.

Nine finalists will win Tuscany-themed “Discover Your Dream Dinner” prize packages that include a year's supply of the brand’s products. Additionally, each month, 150 entrants will be randomly chosen to receive a Buitoni calendar and VIP coupon. All entrants get an exclusive recipe from Casa Buitoni by e-mail.

The contest helps promote the brand’s new line of frozen meals for two. Retailing for a suggested $8.99 to $9.99 each, Buitoni Riserva meals consist of Shrimp and Lobster Ravioli With Garlic Butter Sauce, Four Cheese & Spinach Ravioli with Tomato Basil Sauce, Chicken & Mushroom Ravioli with Marsala Wine Sauce, Braised Beef & Sausage Ravioli with Creamy Marinara Sauce, Grilled Chicken & Spinach Cannelloni with Alfredo Sauce, and Southern Italian Style Meat Lasagna varieties.
