ConAgra Grocery Products Recalls Chicken Noodle Soup
IRVINE, Calif. - ConAgra Grocery Products announced on Thursday is voluntarily recalling about 36,000 cases of Healthy Choice Old Fashioned Chicken Noodle Soup because it may have been mislabeled. The soups labeled Old Fashioned Chicken Noodle Soup may instead be Turkey with White & Wild Rice Soup, which contains a small amount of whey, a known allergen.
The soups were distributed nationwide and internationally through retail stores.
The product affected is the 15-ounce size of Healthy Choice Old Fashioned Chicken Noodle Soup with the code 15EN (followed by a number from 1 through 8) and P91 on the second line.
Consumers are asked to return the product with these codes to their grocer for a full refund. No other flavors, sizes, or codes of Healthy Choice soups are affected by this recall.
There have been no reports of illness or allergic reaction related to this product. This voluntary recall is being conducted in cooperation with the USDA.
