Coke Expects Case Volume to Grow

ATLANTA - The Coca-Cola Company announced today that it expects worldwide unit case volume to grow 4 to 5 percent during the fourth quarter. The company said that full-year worldwide volume is expected to be approximately 4 percent, and its outlook for earnings growth for the full year 2001 and 2002 remains unchanged.

Doug Daft, chairman and CEO, said, "Continued strong cash flow and volume growth of 4 to 5 percent in the current quarter, led by strong international growth and solid growth trends in North America, demonstrate that our business strategies continue to take hold. This is especially pleasing given the challenging macroeconomic conditions we are currently facing. As we move into next year, we remain confident that the progress we have made and the focus on the strategic priorities we have articulated will enable us to continue delivering strong and consistent growth worldwide."
