Co-op Atlantic Rolls Out 'Futura Rewards' Loyalty Program

MONCTON, N.B. -- Co-op Atlantic here said last week that 18 of its stores in 15 communities across Atlantic Canada have introduced a co-branded loyalty program with Futura Rewards, a national rewards program that helps Canadian families save money for their financial goals.

The partnership will enable over 60,000 co-op members to earn cash rewards on hundreds of products available at Co-op stores, including both national brands and private label items, and the rewards then can be used to save for retirement, fund education costs, pay off student loans, or donate to charity.

The Futura Rewards Program will be offered to members at the participating stores as an added value to the co-op's existing "Co-op Member Value Program," automatically entitling them to instant participation in the Futura Rewards Program.

"Futura Rewards helps you save for the events that really matter in life," said Co-op Atlantic v.p. food Robert Lemoine, in a statement. "It's about real investments in your family's future."

With 100 locations in Atlantic Canada and Magdalen Islands, Co-op Atlantic is the only grocer in Atlantic Canada that partners with local farmers and producers to help grow some of the Atlantic Canadian products. Additionally, Co-op stores carry a full range of national brand and private label products.

The Futura Rewards Program has about 400,000 members who benefit from numerous opportunities to earn Futura Rewards through a coalition of over 60 program partners representing over 100 well-known brands and services, and hundreds of individual products. The program is also available at retailers across Canada.
