Chiquita's COO Steps Down
CINCINNATI - Chiquita Brands International Inc. on Tuesday said Robert Fisher will step down as acting chief operating officer.
The company said it does not plan to fill the COO position.
Fisher became COO in March after Chiquita emerged from a financial restructuring. The company had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in
Nov. 2001.
Fisher will remain on Chiquita's board, the company said.
