Charter One to Open Bank Branches in Marsh
INDIANAPOLIS - Charter One Financial entered into an agreement this week with Marsh Supermarkets to open 18 banking center in Marsh stores in greater Indianapolis and Lafayette, Ind. The new bank branches are expected to open in the third and fourth quarters.
The agreement expands Cleveland-based Charter One's footprint and marks its entry into Indiana. The openings are part of Charter One's stated goal to increase its total in-store network to approximately 150 by year-end. It currently operates 65 in-store banks in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and New York, with $1.2 billion in deposits.
