Handling guest requests can lead to confusion for backyard barbequers: Is this steak rare? Did you want yours well done? A new product, Grill Charms, aims to alleviate such confusion. Charleston, S.C.-based Charmed Life Products has created dime-sized solid stainless steel charms that are placed in food before cooking to indicate temperature, spicing, and health and allergy concerns. The company offers two collections, The Charmed Life Collection and the Pink Collection (10 percent of proceeds from Pink go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
