Campbell’s, PepsiCo to Participate in Youth Obesity Summit

The Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) along with honorary chair First Lady Michelle Obama will convene for its fourth national summit in support of their aim to halt the childhood obesity epidemic. 

Slated for Feb. 25-27 at the Washington Hilton in the nation's capital, the Novo Nordisk-sponsored event will bring together leaders from the worlds of philanthropy, government, academia and the private sector, including Campbell Soup Co. and PepsiCo.

Keynote speakers at the conference will include the First Lady and PHA Honorary Vice-chair U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-N.J.), along with Denise Morrison, president and CEO of Campbell Soup Co.; Indra Nooyi, chairman and CEO of PepsiCo; and Christine Day, CEO of Blaine, Wash.-based Luvo, a manufacturer of frozen healthy entrées, breakfasts, flatbreads and burritos.

Nooyi and Day are scheduled to speak on Feb. 26, while Morrison will take the podium on Feb. 27.
