Brookshire’s Readies for ‘Bonus Bucks’ Promo, Store Brands Recipe Contest
Regional independent Brookshire Grocery Co. (BGC) Food & Pharmacy stores will run a “Bonus Bucks” program offering customers a $1 coupon for every $10 spent on selected store brands in a single transaction.
The coupons can be used to save on groceries or gasoline at Brookshire’s stores and fuel centers.
Selected store brands include Food Club, World Classics Trading Company, Full Circle, Top Care, Goldenbrook Farms, Paws, Brookshire’s Brand Bread, Electrix, Domestix, and Academix products.
“Bonus Bucks” will be printed on the bottom of customers’ register tapes and will expire August 17. In addition, every Tuesday during the promotion, customers will receive two “Bonus Bucks” coupons for every $10 spent on selected store brands in a single transaction. Customers can see stores for details on exclusions such as prescriptions, tobacco, alcohol and others.
Additionally, customers can enter the “Family Favorites Recipe Contest” at brookshires.com, from June 2 through July 6, where they can enter their favorite recipe containing at least two Food Club ingredients for a chance to win a $25,000 dream kitchen makeover.
Finalists will be chosen by July 9. From July 10 through August 3, customers can vote for their favorite recipe online. The finalist with the most votes will win the Kitchen Makeover, and 12 runners-up will each win a $500 Brookshire’s gift card.
The Tyler, Texas-based Brookshire’s operates 151 stores in three states, three distribution centers and seven manufacturing facilities.
