Brookshire's Makes Management Changes

Brookshire Grocery Co. has promoted two executives, and made additional changes to its leadership team, the company said today.

Brian Johnson (above left) has been promoted to senior VP, division manager, in which he will oversee Brookshire’s eastern division, which includes 53 stores in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. He was formerly VP, district manager for 13 Tyler-area Brookshire's stores.

Ray Harrison (above right) has been promoted to VP, center store, succeeding Roger Story. Harrison had been category manager, center store, since 2007.

Wesley Hooper replaces Johnson in assuming leadership of the 13 Tyler stores. He was previously VP, district manager, overseeing 14 stores in northeast Texas.

Keith Ridgeway takes over for Hooper as VP, district manager for the northeast Texas stores. He most recently oversaw stores in Longview, Texas, and the surrounding areas. Story has been appointed VP, district manager, for the 13 stores in Longview.

Pete Leung, most recently senior VP, division manager, has been named senior VP, category management, in which he will oversee areas including product procurement, merchandising, fuel operations and vendor relations.

Trent Brookshire, senior VP, division manager, has been given responsibility for the 65 Brookshire’s stores in the western division.

Tyler, Texas-based Brookshire's operates 152 stores.
