Add heft to the meat case with two premium products from Burgers’ Smokehouse: Original and Peppered Bacon Steak Cuts. The only nationally marketed grilling bacon in a retail package, dry-cured, no-water-added Bacon Steak Cuts are a full quarter-inch thick (eight slices per pound). While most national brands boast a shelf life of around 120 days, Burgers’ Bacon Steak Cuts last 365 days on the shelf because of the dry-curing process, according to California, Mo.-based Burgers’, a fourth-generation-owned and -operated company whose specialty meats and foods are sold via catalog, the Web and national distribution to retail outlets.
