Bi-Lo/Bruno's Names S.V.P.
MAULDIN, S.C. -- Southern supermarket chain Bi-Lo/Bruno's here said yesterday it has promoted Kevin McDougall to the position of s.v.p., general counsel and secretary.
McDougall joined Bi-Lo/Bruno's in 2003 as v.p. and general counsel. Before that, he was v.p. and general counsel for Bell & Howell Mail and Messaging Technologies in Durham, N.C.
"Kevin has been an important member of our team for the past two years. His experience is a tremendous asset for us," said Dean Cohagan, Bi-Lo/Bruno's president and c.e.o., in a statement.
A graduate of Wake Forest University, McDougall earned an MBA in finance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and his J.D. from Wake Forest School of Law in 1982.
Bi-Lo/Bruno's operates 342 stores in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and Florida. The company employs approximately 26,000 people.
