Bi-Lo Updates 3 More Stores

Over the past month, Bi-Lo has unveiled three additional updated stores, in Mauldin, Greer and West Columbia, S.C. The improved look and feel of the revamped locations, including a warmer, richer color scheme; the installation of new décor; and upgrades to all departments, are part of the Mauldin-based grocer’s plan to offer a chainwide state-of-the-art shopping experience.

“We continually look to satisfy our customers’ needs, while also keeping our commitment to savings without sacrifice,” said Mike Byars, president and CEO of Bi-Lo, which operates 207 supermarkets in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee, employing about 16,995 people.

Among the offerings at the stores are Bi-Lo’s Gold Star line of meat, including locally raised chicken, tender pork and Certified Angus Beef; exclusive Chef’s Catch seafood and Lakehouse Catfish; Bi-Lo’s triple-inspected Walter’s Produce; Lip Lickin’ Fried Chicken, fresh-sliced Sara Lee meats and cheeses, Signature Deli Pizza, Sweet Dreams Custom Cakes and Gourmet Cookies, along with fresh artisan breads, muffins, pastries and doughnuts; a free Wi-Fi café; and a full-service pharmacy at the Mauldin store.
