Brookshire Grocery Co.’s manufacturing team took top honors March 2 for operations and product quality at the All Star Dairy Association’s annual convention in Ft. Myers, Fla.
The company was honored with the Best Sour Cream Award, Best Buttermilk Award and the “Doc” Lawrence Most Improved Plant Award for its dairy operations. In addition, it received “Exceeds Industry Standards” honors for its dairy and ice cream plants.
“Our manufacturing team produces excellent products that we are proud to serve to our customers and to our families,” said Rick Rayford, BGC president and CEO. “We take the quality and taste of our products very seriously and perform regular audits to ensure the sanitation and safety of our manufacturing plants. The products we offer are top-notch, and we are excited to have them recognized in a national arena.”
