AWG Honors 4 25-year Members

Associated Wholesalers, Inc. (AWI) recently honored four independent retailers in Pennsylvania and New York as 25-year members of the Robesonia, Pa.-based cooperative. The honorees, who all received plaques, were Jeff Stauffer and Paul Stauffer of Stauffer’s of Kissel Hill, Lititz, Pa.; James O’Neill and Michael O’Neill of O’Neill’s Food Market Inc., Glenside, Pa.; Ed Myers of Myers’ Meat Market, Hanover, Pa; and Jim Dubas of Schneider’s of Kirkwood, N.Y.

AWI now includes 97 family-owned retailers that have been members of the coop for 25 years or more.

A retailer-owned cooperative serving members and customers that operate supermarkets and convenience stores throughout the eastern United States, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, AWI provides food and household products, including its own Shurfine and White Rose brands, from distribution centers in Robesonia; York, Pa.; and Carteret, N.J.
