Associated New England Names Bakery/Deli Purchasing Manager
PEMBROKE, N.H. -- Associated Grocers of New England, Inc. here has appointed William Carter to be its new bakery/deli purchasing manager. He replaces Jim Allen, who has left the company to pursue other opportunities.
Carter reports to Richard Wheeler, AG New England's v.p. wholesale merchandising and procurement. "Bill comes to us from Rich Products Corp., where he had been a technical specialist in the bakery/deli sales and services division," Wheeler said.
AG New England, the largest retailer-owned, wholesale grocery distribution center in New England, serves independent retail food stores in Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and the upstate New York/Albany area.
