Associated Grocers of Florida has deployed the ReposiTrak solution to handle risk associated with food safety.
Powered by software-as-a-service provider Park City Group, the ReposiTrak platform manages regulatory, financial and brand risk in the global food supply chain. The solution consists of the Compliance Management system, which receives, stores and shares documentation, and the Track and Trace system, which identifies a product's supply chain path in the event of a recall.
Noting the wholesaler's focus on its compliance with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), Christopher Miller, president of Pompano Beach, Fla.-based Associated Grocers of Florida, added that ReposiTrak will help "decrease our risk by improving FSMA document compliance across our entire supplier base and respond to any record request well within the FDA’s 24-hour time limit.”
The ReposiTrak solution is endorsed by Retailer Owned Food Distributors & Associates, of which Associated Grocers of Florida is a member, and the Food Marketing Institute.
Associated Grocers of Florida supplies more than 420 supermarkets throughout the Sunshine State as well as multiple chains and single store operators in the Caribbean and Latin America.
