A&P Ups DiNicolantonio to VP of Pharmacy
The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., Inc. has promoted Carol DiNicolantonio to the position of VP of pharmacy, A&P. In making the promotion public, the Montvale, N.J.-based grocer cited DiNicolantonio’s performance and leadership in her business unit as reasons for the appointment.
DiNicolantonio’s most recent position was senior director of pharmacy, A&P, in which capacity she supervised 20 direct reports and over 800 pharmacists. She also was responsible for over $500 million in annual sales for 247 pharmacies in six states, and directed all aspects of pharmacy operations, including marketing, merchandising and health-and-wellness programs, for the company.
Among DiNicolantonio’s achievements at A&P are the development and implementation of the “Live Better! Wellness Program,” which offers discounts on over-the-counter items and many grocery items that promote a healthy lifestyle for individuals, families and pets.
