A&P Breaking Ground for Philly Super Fresh Unit
MONTVALE, N.J. -- The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., based here, will break ground this Wednesday for a fresh prototype Super Fresh store at Ivyridge, a shopping center in Philadelphia.
The new unit is a 47,288-square-foot Super Fresh, according to New York-based real estate company New Plan, which is redeveloping the center. The shopping center will also feature 8,000 square feet of newly constructed retail space, New Plan said. Other retailers at Ivyridge include Blockbuster, Dollar Tree, and Great Clips.
A&P has been busy rolling out stores in each of its fresh, discount, and gourmet formats.
