Andronico's Sells Danville Unit to Lunardi's
ALBANY, Calif. – Regional independent Andronico's Market is selling its Danville store in an effort to pay down debt.
According to published reports, another regional independent, Lunardi's is buying the store and will reopen it under its own banner Sept. 19.
The store will be the eighth location for Lunardi's, and its second in the East Bay.
Once the Danville unit changes hands, Andronico's will be left with operate nine stores.
Most of the store’s current employees are expected to be retained by Lunardi's.
