AMI to Offer One Registration Fee for 2012 Co-located Trade Shows

The American Meat Institute has confirmed that one registration will provide attendees access to the exhibit halls of three premier co-located trade shows in 2012 -- the FMI Exhibit and Education Event, the AMI International Meat Poultry and Seafood Convention and Exposition, and United Fresh.

Attendees will also benefit from joint education programming, and exhibitors will be able to take advantage of the expanded marketing opportunity and additional traffic throughout the event, AMI said.

Sponsored by the Food Marketing Institute, FMI 2012 attracts approximately 400 exhibitors and 17,000 attendees representing retailers. Separately, AMI Expo attracts more than 450 exhibitors and 10,000 attendees from 100 countries at all levels of the meat and poultry industry. United Fresh attracts 5,000 attendees and over 200 exhibitors.

The events will be held at the Dallas Convention Center in Dallas. The FMI and United Fresh expo halls will be open May 1-3, 2012, and the AMI Expo will be held April 30-May 3, 2012, giving attendees from all industries an extra day to visit the expansive equipment exhibits.

All three shows will continue to focus on their core competencies and will provide their own education programming and networking events.

Exhibit sales for the 2012 AMI Expo will begin on Feb. 7, 2011.
