Albertsons Pinterest Contest Winners Take Home $3K

Three winners have been named for Albertsons Market’s Colors of the Harvest Pinterest contest and together they will take home a total of $3,000 in Albertsons Market gift cards.

Albertsons Market invited customers in early November to create Pinterest boards for a chance to win the grand prize of a $2,000 gift card. The grand-prize winner, Cathi Iannone of Thornton, Colo., created her Pinterest board and collected top honors in the contest with 35 pins. Iannone will take home a $2,000 Albertsons Market gift card.

“It’s exciting for us to engage our customers via Pinterest, because it’s such a dynamic site,” said Elizabeth Perryman, digital content manager for AlbertsonsMarket.com. “Pinterest allows us a glimpse into what kinds of recipes spark a person’s interest, which helps us connect with the customer. Overall, it’s been a great vehicle for our social and digital efforts this year.”

Second prize and a $1,000 gift card went to Abby Tafoya, also of Thornton, Colo., for her Pinterest Board; and third place went to Lisa Speer of Palm Beach, Fla. Speer wins a $500 gift card for her Pinterest board.

The contest began Tuesday, Nov. 6 and ended on Friday, Dec. 7.

Albertsons Market, owned by Albertson’s LLC, is privately owned and operates under the Albertson’s banner in Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Texas.
