Albertsons Exclusive Retailer of Holiday Cards Designed by Olive Crest's Children

November 22, 2002 - FULLERTON, CA -- Albertsons has partnered with Olive Crest Homes & Services for Abused Children to raise funds for children and families affected by abuse and neglect through the sale of Olive Crest's 2002 Holiday Card Collection. Drawn by the Olive Crest children, the Collection features ten festive card designs that depict the holidays through the eyes of a child. All proceeds from the cards, which can be purchased at over 300 Albertsons stores in Southern California and Southern Nevada, will be donated to the organization.

For 30 years, Olive Crest Homes & Services for Abused Children has provided care for abused, abandoned and severely neglected children. Olive Crest is dedicated to preventing child abuse, to treating victims of child abuse and to preserving the family ... "One Life at a Time." This is Albertsons fifth year partnering with Olive Crest in its holiday card program.

Olive Crest continues to promote the safety and wellness of children and families through an array of innovative programs including specialized education, foster and adoption agencies, family preservation and more than 20 residential homes.
