Ahold USA to Deploy Workscape Solution for HR Initiative
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. - Workscape Inc., provider of Internet-based Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, was recently selected by Ahold USA, a subsidiary of Royal Ahold, as a cornerstone of the Ahold Manager and Associate Self-Service initiative.
The core objectives of the Ahold Manager and Associate Self-Service (MASS) project are to increase employee retention, decrease turnover, and improve HR business processes by automating corporate and store management HR transactions through Web technology. As a result, a wide range of associate and manager self-service functions will be deployed.
Integrated into the solution will be Authoria's knowledge repository, a Web-based communications platform that enables organizations to manage and communicate complex benefits and policy information.
"The MASS initiative is intended to provide every associate with a best-of-breed system that can be used to access personally relevant information about benefits, policies, and procedures, and to perform day-to-day HR functions via the Web from work or home.
