AG New England Hires HR VP

Nick Manolis is the new VP of human resource development for Associated Grocers of New England. “Over the past four years,” noted Mike Bourgoine, the Pembroke, N.H.-based president and CEO, “Nick has been an outstanding instructor of management training and leadership development. He will now oversee the human resource and safety/wellness departments on a full-time basis.”

For more three decades, Manolis (left) has held a variety of senior human resource/labor relations roles, including consulting and direct management, in both the public and private sectors. His most recent position involved overseeing education, training and consulting efforts for the Concord-based New Hampshire Public Risk Management Exchange (Primex3), providing human resource management in addition to organizational development and consulting services to more than 400 members.

Owned entirely by independent retail grocers as members of a cooperative, AG New England is the largest retailer-owned wholesale grocery distribution center in New England, serving stores in Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and the upstate New York/Albany area.
