Plus it’s safe for kids under 2 and for those allergic to bee honey. Viscosity is much like the real thing, and it has a fresh taste with apple undertones. Although a tad pricy, it fills a niche well.

This was the hands-down favorite among our testers of all the so-called “sprouted” snack chips we received for the contest. Made with flax seed, chia seeds, quinoa, black beans, broccoli seeds and daikon radish seeds, Minneapolis-based Way Better Snacks’ chips deliver a hearty taste, fine texture and satisfying crunch. The sweet-and-spicy kick was just enough for testers who prefer milder flavors, and plenty for those who like it hot. Way to go, Way Better Snacks!
