2010 DIMA Photo Kiosk Shoot-Out Winners Revealed

At the seventh annual Digital Imaging Marketing Association Photo Kiosk Shoot-Out, held Feb. 19 at the Photo Marketing Association 2010 event in Anaheim, Calif., eight winners representing 17 photo kiosks across four categories were chosen by two panels of judges, consisting of self-service experts and consumers.

The four categories were Digital Order Station, Instant Print Kiosk, Software Only and Multifunction Photo Kiosk. The judges evaluated the kiosk systems using criteria such as customization, flexibility of options, reporting and other benefits important to retailers.

The winners of the “Expert’s Choice” award in each category are as follows:

—Instant Print Kiosk Winner/Instant Print Station: Storefront.com Online Inc., Vancouver, British Columbia
—Software Only Winner: APM, Lucidiom Inc., Vienna, Va.
—Multi-Function Photo Kiosk Winner/Multifunction Kiosk: Storefront.com Online Inc., Vancouver, British Columbia

The kiosk systems were also judged by a panel of consumers evaluating features such as user-friendliness, ergonomics, feature set, quality of print,a nd overall experience. The winners of the “People’s Choice” award in each category are as follows:
