Grocery Shopping Network Names Dir. Client Performance

Aug 19, 2008

Grocery Web site solutions provider Grocery Shopping Network, Inc. yesterday promoted Duane Kolsrud to dir. of client performance, responsible for managing client account representatives, introducing new ways to increase Web performance, and overseeing all relationships between GSN and its clients.

"Duane Kolsrud has played a crucial role in the exceptional performance and execution of clients' Web sites, from sale to launch," said c.e.o. Andy Robinson.

During Kolsrud's three-year tenure, GSN said it has seen 400 percent traffic growth in its clients' Web site traffic, and he's been instrumental in managing marketing programs, public relations, and many technology updates for GSN's key accounts.

Kolsrud came to GSN from loyalty marketing firm Carlson Marketing Group, where he was an integral part of creating, launching, and managing its national points based electronic loyalty rewards program, Gold Points. Prior to this, he served as an executive at Russell Stover Candies and played a pivotal role in bringing their products into mass retailers and grocers such as Meijer, Kroger, and K-Mart, according to GSN. During his tenure with Russell Stover Candies, the company tripled its overall sales volume.

GSN provides grocery retailers' Web sites with a suite of proprietary software products developed to integrate shopping list building, recipes, and meal planning with relevant, focused advertising content.
